Lamu Island
Inspired by Lamu Island off the coast of Kenya, these pieces weave together all we love about travel - old worlds, texture, off the beaten track and nature.
Being the oldest town in East Africa, Lamu whispers of a world gone-by, with intricately carved swahili archways and architecture with protective hamsa hands besides most doors, with only donkeys for transport and an abundant sealife accessed mainly from a slow sailing wooden dhou boat. These pieces capture the symbols, nature and colours that make up what we love about this special island allowing you to travel vicariously through them.
Beautifully made up using semi-precious stones and delicate hand cut brass shapes by our team of brass-smiths in Kenya.
